| About the Artist:
Erna Gilbertson
Photography has guided me to pay attention to the light of the “magic” hour of the
early dawn and the last light of the day. My interest in nature has increased as my awareness of nature expands, which makes me be more in touch with my surroundings.
Such a delight to be greeted by the first rays of the sun or be surprised by the peach/yellow light of the full moon appearing over the hillcrest of Mt. Baldy.
From crashing waves at the Oregon Coast to fog at Mt. Baldy, Lane County wildflowers
and sunsets, it is a pleasure to be able to share these images of Oregon and beyond.
I photograph what I see, the camera captures what is.
Since 1996 I have developed a great interest in photography by capturing “The beauty
that surrounds us”. As a friend recently said: you have an “eye” of conveying to the
viewer, a “feel” of the images you capture, giving a sense of being right there.
All images are original photographic prints, no filters are used.
Images may be ordered in a variety of sizes.
